Talk about the Girl Scout Promise. Have the girls match the correct word to fill each blank.

Talk about what each statement means to them.

Play an icebreaker game with the troop. It could be something as simple as sharing your favorite hobby or vacation spot. Make connections between the girls with similar answers.

Direct the girls to draw and/or write about what they learned about their fellow troop members.

Page 3

One of the statements in the Girl Scout Promise is to help people at all times. Talk as a group about different ways you can help people. Then break into smaller groups and have the girls draw pictures showing how they'd help people.

Page 4

The last project is an “about me” activity. Have each girl reflect on what makes her unique or what her favorite things are. Have them write or illustrate their favorite things.

If time allows, share with the group.
