What is First Aid?

We start by exploring what first aid is and what types of people perform first aid. There are many different professions and people who are trained: think police, firefighters, EMTs, teachers, lifeguards and more!

Have the girls work together or individually. You can also have them share at the end.

9-1-1 is a great resource, but something that should not be abused. Talk about how to dial 9-1-1. Then go over different scenarios of appropriate and inappropriate uses of 9-1-1.

Have the girls role play calling 9-1-1. Break into groups and have them work with a partner to come up with appropriate scenarios. Then share with the larger troop.
