What is First Aid?

We start exploring what First Aid is, and what types of individuals perform first aid. There are many different professions or people who are trained - think police, fire fighters, EMTs, teachers, lifeguards and more!

Have the girls work together or individually. You can also ahve them share at the end.
Pages 2-3
9-1-1 is a great resource but something that should not be abused. Talk about how to dial 9-1-1. Then go over difference scenarios of appropriate and inappropriate uses of 9-1-1.

Have the girls role play calling 9-1-1. Break into groups and have them work with a partner coming up with appropriate scenarios. Then share with the larger troop.
